Do you remember that smoke?
How it carried my hopes and dreams?
How it delivered that single twinkling light?
That beacon of hope?
That beacon from the heart?
It has cleared now.
GONE.
No longer is IT there,
No longer do I dream, hope.
No longer do I feel…
My hopes and dreams destroyed.
The art in my life is nothing but copies, copies of someone else, long gone, or someone who doesn’t care…
Nothing but copies,
a thousand times over……
What I once admired, Is now NOTHING but hopeless ASH…..
What I once SAW as an outlet,
Has BECOME NOTHING BUT FAKE,
The very thing I hate…
So I have to ask of you now,
Do YOU remember?, because I do…
