Scream and Yell
I hear the crunch of the can
It’s gone, it won't be long now
I hear him scream and yell
I bring him another
No thanks, no smile, no acknowledgement
He gulps it down, like it’s his last
I can only hope
Then I hear him scream and yell
I refuse to bring him another
He raises his hand, I run and I hide
I hear him scream and yell
As the tears fall from my face
I try to stay quiet
He can’t find me
I hear him scream and yell
He found me, my face is red
The tears pour down my face
I scream and yell
