Deep Within
Deep within my soul I cry,
Into the cold grey sky,
My cries are silenced once more,
Behind a cool, emotionless mask.
Deep with my soul I scramble,
To the surface and beyond,
To show what I am really feeling,
Instead of blocking it behind a wall,
Society considers my emotions weak,
A pathetic crying child,
I scramble midway and see the open,
Until I fall again.
Deep within my soul I'm hurt,
Memories eat my away,
Leaving all but a body,
And an emotionless facade.
