I Can't Change
A deep rouge resides on her delicate cheek.
Her pursed lips create a sly smile.
That smile.
The same smile that captured your heart.
Eyes green as shiny emeralds.
Her hair falls ever-so-perfectly.
She was the one you liked.
And she knew that.
You liked that fire in her heart.
I didn't have that.
I didn't have anything that she had.
She was beautiful.
I wasn't.
She was exciting.
I wasn't.
She was amazing.
I wasn't.
I can't be like her.
I'll lose myself.
I'll lose my very own identity.
I'll just become like her.
I can't change myself for you.
