Crowded Room
She sits alone in a crowded room,
Cause there's only a table for two,
She smiles as you walk by,
Staying strong even though she wants to die,
She needs a friend someone to say hi,
Its over, its done, but only for today,
She has to come back everyday,
Only two days off,
That's not even enough time to turn the lights off,
But she smiles and waves,
Laughs through the days,
Even though she is in a haze,
Her parents hoping its just a phase,
At home she cries,
All alone at night,
Brother and sisters think she's fine,
Mother and father don't deny,
Therapy not worth the time,
The cuts and bruises are divine,
Making her feel whole inside,
Long sleeves and excuses,
To hide her abuses,
She's all alone in a crowded room,
Dresses up,
Make-up on,
Don't forget the fake smile too,
Happy she may seem,
But she needs some company,
Cause she's all alone in a crowded room.
