THe world
One night a while ago I thought of all the things that go on in life, And how most things don't turn out right.
So I sit at my desk and I drink my tea while I imagine of how it all happens.
Like how the knife in my hands turned into a bouquet of flowers and the skeleton in my closet grew skin and decided to say hello.
Or the boys with the pretty faces whose hearts I've broken with jagged edged words.
And how one time I went in the wrong direction for twenty miles and I'm not sure I ever turned around but I only drank three cups of tea today
so I guess it means its getting better. Cause the world
keeps spinning it stops for no one so I hope I'm going the right way, and I stand here facing the fork in the road while my tea slowly gets cold and things continue to go wrong.
