I rest my head upon your shoulder,
don't think this night could get any colder
you won't even look at me
'cause you're afraid of what you'll see
so let's pretend, come, fake a smile,
act like you want to stay for awhile
'cause you'll never understand the fight
that's been raging inside me all night
face it, when you smile and I frown
it's like we're falling upside down.
