Prioritys
As I’ve grown old I’ve noticed a few things
Like How succeeding is less about effort
And more about pulling the right strings.
Why write a poem for your wife
When you can just buy her diamond rings?
Why bother making good grades to get into college
When you’re friends with the dean?
You could go job-hunting,
Or just leech off a friend.
Because when you think about it
It won’t matter in the end.
Life is about appearance not about reality
Which is why when we want to impress someone
We dress up really nifty.
Harvard alumni could show up to an interview in sweatpants and not get the job
Who cares about intelligence?
Life is about looking like a heartthrob
Not many people would date Marie curie
If Megan fox was an option.
We need to re-think our priorities.
