Little SIster
Mother always said
she's a dreamer
pretty little lips longing to play
tiny little bones
a tinier frame
longing to go places
longing to stray
And mother always said
stay away from the wood
creature lurking there far brutish
than those behind bars, chained within
far filthier than the souls we tried to hide
But my little sister is a dreamer
and monsters are only people without a face
so when a creature tipped its hat
she decided she needed a taste
My sister is a dreamer
believing in all it hate to say
she snuck outside
under the pale moonlight
where she quietly gave her heart away
My sister was a dreamer
but fufilled a tiny role
for when the monster left her
he has already eaten her soul
My sister is not longer a dreamer
a shell is all she seems to be
sitting, watching the world pass by
sitting next to me
So if you are a dreamer,
stay away from the tree line
cause when a monster eat your soul
you'll wish your fate wasn't mine.
