When All Else is Gone
Sky darks as the clouds turn satin
Curled up into a ball
Rain falling from the clouds
Tears streaming down
As her heart cracks even further
“BANG!”
Thunder emerges
Her heart is held together by one last piece
“BANG, BANG!”
The pieces of her heart crumble like a house of sticks
Pain is all she knows.
Deprived of love and care.
She never knew what smiling ever was,
It’s all a foreign memory
Gazing at the sky, not a sight of light
Stuck like glue
In all her doom
Wiping away the tears,
Breathe easily,
There’s a way…
Love yourself
When all else is gone,
All that is there
Is one and only one,
You
