infested
The plague is crawling beneath the skin
Pulses with excitement
The fresh scent of sorrow
Systematically feeds off of the fresh wound
A walking hive
And nothing more
Afraid of interaction
For what’s in store
Swarming
Leeching
Devouring
Weakening
You fight to feed
There is no way around this disease…
Almost impossible to know,
When the struggle is beneath and no one sees
Infested
The blood reappears
And the thoughts swarm the mind…
Will it be the end this time?
