A Child Scorned
What more is wanted
Is all not enough?
The way it is treated
Hurt
Abused
Has satisfaction become you?
My skin is whole, untouched
For my heart I cannot say the same.
Your words have broken the utmost part of me
Shattered
Neglected
I've lost you, and you, I.
Day by day, my thoughts,
They surround you
They wrap around like white blood cells
Attacking
Killing
Diminishing the disease.
Though health does not consume my body
Immune system, foundering
I am only left with lasting scars
Heaviness
Tears
I will carry it.
I will let it kill me.
