&quot;Pain is just a simple compromise, so we can get what we want out of it.&quot;<br /> ~Paramore

I'm waiting
For light
For hope
For anything
Worth fighting for.
I'm dreaming
For a place
For a home
Of a time
Worth living in.
And while
I wait,
Patiently,
These vains
Do bleed.
Not by choice
Not by gain
Not by anything
Worth the
Mentioning.
As I wait,
The sun
Begins to burn,
Casting around,
All around,
It's beauty
It's legacy
It's light.
I fall asleep
In the fading
Darkness.
In the morn’
I will awake,
Awake to
A Bloody Dawn.
I feel the sun
Coming up.
A brand new start,
With all new plans.
Tomorrow morn'
I'll awake
To a
Bloody Dawn.

Such deep imagery.  I love the way this poem is set up, it makes you stop and think about every line.  Bloody Dawn...
