The Dark Beast
In life, things happen
Whether spontaneous or planned
They happen, but how can this be said by a cruel twist of fate
When only rope seals the deal
But how can you just accept this?
So you ponder, you dread, you hate
For confusion surrounds
How can it just happen?
How can it be allowed to exist?
For when all it does is leave corruption in its wake
This… thing that makes us see blackness
Waiting for us to slip, controlling us until all we see is darkness
It forms a disease-like concoction
Letting the parasites eat and weaken you
And when it succeeds, it spreads and spreads; hollowing us out
Until we finally step over to the abyss
And witness our last mortal mistake
