On your knees
Dig it.
Set it.
Spike it.
The digging is my job. At five foot one I am not the average volleyball player.
Save it.
Pass it.
Ace it.
The floor burn and red arms fade, but the glory of digging a spike that was thought to be impossible doesn't.
Huddle.
Clap.
Rotate.
The only thing stopping the ball and the other side of the court of the court from colliding is your arms.
Cheers.
Net.
Serve.
The invincible moment when you hit your knees to retrieve the perfect dig, to set up the perfect set, and watch the spike soar towards the opposing teams feet.
Priceless.
