Dear Friend
Dear friend
you, with your sensuality and mind
you sway me like no other
calm and beautiful, you are like the sea
dear friend
you have no knowledge of the power you have over me
you are my friend, my confidante
only you, can I come to when all I see are clouds whispering secrets most closest to the soul
you secrete serenity and evoke the calm deep within me
dear friend
you see me only as a friend
close as we may be
you still don't know how I truly feel about you, for I masquerade in a mask of other deep and superficial feelings
dear friend
As I struggle to articulate, you sit there patiently, in all your polished beauty
But as we sit there, and as I struggle, all you need to know is that I love you
