Birds MAG
Clear bright skies, long shadows
A multitude of birds sit calmly on the beach
Gentle swells softly caress the sand
A gust seems to lift the birds into the air
all at once
Sea gulls, swallow-tailed gulls, skimmers, pelicans, and a lone albatross
Woven together in a tapestry of feathers
and beaks and waves
A moment later they come to rest again
And quiet solitude returns
