Changed
They say I’ve changed
But they’re blind to the fact
It was their words
That changed me.
Their rumors
Their “facts”
That took away
My innocence
My confidence
My thoughts
Now it’s all replaced
Her name is unknown
Her face non-existent
But her words are there,
like yours were.
To change me
To fix me
To better me
All to your liking
I hope you’re happy
Because now
All I care about is ways
To make me prettier
Skinnier
Perfect
So now,
Thoughts become criticism
Food becomes forbidden
Thinspo becomes addiction
They say I’ve changed
But they’re blind to the fact
That their words
Made me
Waste
Away.
