A Bleeding Heart
I thought I could feel
The power you had to heal
All the broken pieces of this
Life I wish to dismiss
Only, it isn't very right
To commit a crime to make bright
What has always been numb
How could I be so dumb?
One day, maybe I will win
The girl that sees me sin
Her parents know how I feel
Better than myself, what a steal
I wish they'd help me out
Anger now fills me with doubt
I can't think, nor read
This heart is busted, I bleed
Her name and face I'll never forget
I know she thinks I'll regret
Falling in love so quickly
My thoughts, so sticky
In the end, this is for nothing
She will not see it coming
