I hate seeing the bruises.
I hate seeing you cry.
You are not strong enough to fight back.
You won't say a word.
Or try to get help.
But you have me by your side.
I will always be there.
Through the hurt and the pain.
Because that is what friends are for.
Although we may fight.
Although we may argue.
You are a special person in my heart.
So let me help you.
