Once Upon The Darkest Day
Once upon the darkest day, when most have lost their will to live, I'll sit beside and hold you tight and kiss the broken skin.
With blade in hand and tears on face, emotions so unsure, I won't let go, I'll hold you tight, and remind you of what we were.
We'll stop to hear the broken world echo all around us, until the blood has ceased to spill and the tears have all but dried, I'll hold you close and in your ear I'll let you know, "We all go a little mad sometimes."
Once upon the darkest day we went a tad bit mad.. And now we sit and stare at scars that just won't seem to fade, and while we watch the world go by we hope for one more day.
