You Don't Know Me
When you look at me,
I know what you see:
Light skinned,
Big brown eyes,
Long dark hair,
Two piercings on the right,
One piercing on the left.
You say you know me.
You say you know everything
About me.
I say you don't.
You say I believe in God,
I say I don't.
You say I get straight A's,
I say I don't.
You say I have a lot of friends,
I say I don't.
You say I have a boyfriend,
I say I don't.
You say you know me,
I say you know nothing
About me.
There is no God,
No A's,
No friends,
No boyfriend.
There is a higher power,
Decent grades,
A few best friends,
The most amazing girlfriend.
You say you know me,
I saw you don't.
