I have lived a life so far
But I wouldn’t say it has been one I’ve enjoyed
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a devastating moment detecting radar
None of this destruction and loss had I employed
People say they know defeat
Never have things gone this wrong
Where I had tripped up and fumbled
The road I’m on seems so long
There’s no end to my misery
I do know though that this is a phase
I will overcome the agony
And get out of this maze
My friends are here for me
I trust them because the finish line they say they can see
