My DrEaMs
What are dreams
if not merely your conscious
trying to tell you something
practically busting at the seams
What more can I say
about the evil laughter
the toothy smile
the darkness and shadow
and the glowing eyes
who's bodies always evade my eye
What more can I say
about the lack of all things gay
about the absence of blue eyes
about what comes at the end of the dream
always an impending demise
I'll tell you what more I can say
When I open my eyes
I grimly find out
My dreams have told no lies.
