I am lovable and needy
I wonder when you're coming back
I hear the child cry
I see love in the distance
I want to be successful
I am lovable and needy

I pretend that I am a queen
I feel a flower growing inside
I touch your soft, smooth cheek
I worry that you'll disintegrate
I cry and hope that you won't leave
I am lovable and needy

I understand that you know I'm short
I say I don't care, you still are mine
I dream of having a family with you
I try to think positive
I hope you won't leave
I am lovable and needy.

The author's comments:
I decided to make a love I am poem. It's suppose to let anyone know that you are lovable and needy like a child. What I mean by that, is that you need love. Everyone need love and that you're scared to lose it. You treat it like it's everything to you and you should treasure that feeling or person.
