My Problem With Words
Sometimes I write,
But an enormous “blank”
Shows on my paper,
Like my thoughts are trapped
In an invisible cloak
Behind the lines of the paper,
Longing to seep through it
With thick, black ink
And form smooth words.
Yet they crowd in the corners
Of my mind,
Playing an endless game of hide-and-seek.
