I Shouldn't MAG
I know I shouldn’t
But I have to
Magnets pull me toward heartbreak
I know I shouldn’t
But I do
Blindly falling when hopes dash
I know I shouldn’t
But when I don’t
I panic, systems crash
Wishing for what never will be,
I hope, hope for the impossible …
The phone rings.
“Light My Candle”
I scream.
Loudly.
I know I shouldn’t
But “hello?” I answer.
Tingly needles poke
When he replies
Love “I know I shouldn’t” but I do.
I am.
