Taken away from home,
And become a property.
Taking away from family,
Wonder if there’s hope to see them again.
Struggling, beating, smashing, force working.
Aint loosing hope yet,
I know there’s a God watching above the throne/.
I want freedom,
We all want freedom!
Freedom to go back to our Africa,
The land of our soul.
Even if I die,
My spirit will be alive.
