MY life in the dark

I must lie to hide our story
Our love forever true
A never ending tunnel of darkness
My life is slipingaway slowly
You are the light I can still see
You are slowly fading out
My eyes are closing
I have sliped away
For just today
Not to breathe another breath
My light is gone
The day is over
Your love can only pull me into the light
Out of the darkness
I would stay another day only to see the light of day.

The author's comments:
I wrote this 2 weeks after my dad died, it is ment to be from his point of view, as i am the light, and he is at the other end of a long dark tunnel ( his life) and I am the only thing thhat can save him
