Hatching from a tiny egg.
Coming into the new world
and taking a breath of air.
Beginning a new journey.
Growing, inching through the plants.
Forming to a chrysalis.
Transforming, and converting.
Waiting, a new life ahead.
Born again, what is to come?
Wings spread, soaring through the air.
The bright patterns on the wings.
Seeking sunlit spot to lay.
Bringing color to the world.
One month of life in her home.
Leaving behind the forest...
until a new egg hatches.
