Sirens wake the town
trapped in a blazing fire,
screaming and shouting
For their loved ones—
Separated
between a door and burning flames.
Hands on windows,
screaming
for help.
No one is around;
No one can hear.
Traumatized, torn apart.
Ninety people dead.
Locals pick through filth and ashes
Family members treasure the belongings
left but the Only thing left is ashes and lost memories
and then “Nation’s Greatest Hotel Disaster”
read morning papers.
