The Drums Move My Heart
The drums move my heart and the
Melodies move my blood.
The music moves my breath and therefore
My life.
And I look outside and see
Life.
People walking
Birds flying
Plants growing
and the Sun shining through a
Field of clouds.
It moves my mind.
How does it shine despite the clouds?
Because the sun is strong and bright.
And so am I.
I can shine despite my clouds.
To spite my clouds.
Even the darkest ones.
Especially those.
And my heart can be a drum
My blood can be a melody and
My breath can be music to
Someone's ears.
And I can walk and
Fly and
Grow and
Shine despite the clouds.
And I can be alive.
