"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players"
- Jaques, As You Like It Act II, scene VII

Come little child, dry your tears
Steady your hand and confront your fears
Ready your act, for now's the time
Crying for nothing won't save your life

Come little child, stand strong now
Come take my hand and I'll show you how
Hold my hand tight, for this is it
I promise that it will not hurt a bit

Come little child, it's time to go
Steady your gaze and go with the flow
When you're eyes shut, no more will you know

Come little child, come die with me

The Little Child was a recurring theme for some of the things I've written in the past - please enjoy the first poem he makes his appearance in.
