I hate that moment when
You notice you never truly understood the meaning of two words
Then you realize they describe you almost perfectly in every way possible
I get it now
Why I feel so incomplete
I am a starving artist
Though I don't hunger for food
I starve for attention,
A little recognition
My heart cries out to be noticed by someone,
Anyone
I dream of the day I see my name on a picture, poem, song, or some dinky little ditty
I don’t believe I’m alone in that thought
We artists starve to be seen in our true form
No matter the artist or the age
We will always starve for that until someone sees us
Will we still starve or will you stop our search for acknowledgement
