I was looking forward to this day
Since way before I knew it
I could hardly wait
I could see the people I loved
And make sure I enjoyed
Each moment to its fullest
This day was set in stone
You said I could come
You I wouldn't dare
This day was for you
You wanted the day for yourself
You didn't need me
All I wanted was to come
You said I'm not coming
And that is that
So you drove off without me
I was left behind
