9000 Pesky Episodes
They are the only things that stress me. I am the only one who challenges them. Nine thousand pesky episodes with more filler than mexican pinatas. Nine thousand conveniently on Netflix. Nine thousand is the power level we always mock. From my basement I watch them, but my mom says get a life.
Their allure is addicting. They send plot twists and story arcs. They build up just to let you down and blow your mind with former expectations between their collectable box sets and pierce the heavens with a single Goku rage. This is how they run.
Let one forget his reason for being, they’d all choke the life out of day, drawing in the average viewer. Run, run, run every single episode. They dictate.
When I am too long and gruesome to keep running, when I am just a name up against mainstream titles. When there is nothing left to look at but ending credits. Nine thousand who attract young and old. Nine thousand that mesmerize the world. Nine thousand who’s only reason is to fumble me.
