A Reality Nightmare
I walk into my precious child's room
I see her laying still and quiet
With her feet out of the covers
I pull the blanket up to her chin
And touch her precious face
My hand comes back wet
For the dear child had been crying
Her peaceful expression is nothing but a lie
Thoughts are tormenting her
Making her a victim of nightmares
She had cried herself to sleep tonight
