My Bestfriend, My Love
I remember when I first laid eyes on him
Everything about him was just so right
His complexity, tone and volume
The way people move around him
Like he belongs there
He is in the names of everyone’s mouths
Everyone loves him
People have their own opinions about him
And his many characteristics
But I love every single thing about him
He is beautiful to me
Every time I hear his voice
I dance and sing
His voice is the last thing I hear at night
And the first thing I wake up to in the morning
He has no ethnic background
Because he has every part of the world
Etched into his DNA
I feel my iPod and computer up
With the sound of his love
So that I can play it through the day
He’s my best friend
He holds the answers to all my secrets
With every new thing he says
And when it’s time for a party
He is right there beside me
And he will always be
He will never die
He might changes with the fads of the time
But he will always stay the same
And will forever be etched in the veins
Of my heart
