I was in the middle of nowhere
Watching, waiting, listening
for the sounds of the others
I wait, I watch, I listen
so I am not found out
after a while, I figured they stopped looking for me
I set forth through unfamiliar territory
waiting, watching, listening
for the sounds of my enemy
creeping, crawling, silent
I become one with the earth
no path to follow
no one to guide me
I was lost
in the middle of nowhere
among bodies littering the floor
then I hear them
they are coming this way, looking for survivors
but I am good at this game
I watch, wait, and listen
until it is time to strike
becoming one with the earth
moving as silently as the wind
They are right below me now
and before they knew it
the game was over
I have won
