Beneath It All
He’s as dark as ever
Throwing fire with his gaze
Attracting demons in his footsteps
and trailing behind shadows
His emotions at their peak
Hurt him and you’ll know rage
Take to him; like a moth to the light
Take to him; like no other
Allow him to accept himself,
And learn to
love him; love him as strongly as I do,
And you’ll know what lies beneath
all the darkened layers.
