Final Bow
April 15.
Tax Day.
The End.
The day prior, the grandchildren were forced to leave.
They already saw the decay of one,
So viewing the other was unacceptable.
With last words being spoken,
They all knew what was occurring,
But couldn’t act against it.
Everything was meant to happen,
Even if it was not the way that
Was initially imagined.
They were all asked to lead lives
That fulfilled each of their desires
And prove the family proud.
The younger ones simply shook their head
And agreed to the proposal,
But afterwards, proved unknowledgeable.
While the elders held on dearly,
Taking to heart every word because
They knew the importance of each breath.
Unfortunately, it was time for
Their final bow though.
It was the now the end.
Life had to move on.
