A Real Relationship
I had a girlfriend once
She was loyal, and oh so beautiful
That long, golden hair
Which flowed in the breeze without a care
Those dark brown eyes
Just one stare, and they showed you that hope never dies
And that gorgeous face
With those pearly white teeth
One glance, and my wildest dreams i never had to chase
Yes, to me she was different from every other girl
The way she walked on her four legs
Hypnotizing my mind into a loving twirl
For those two-legged creatures, only an idiot begs
I gave my heart to them more than once, but none ever truly received
But she, she retrieved
And has had it ever since
Until the day came
When she jumped over the fence
