Time marches
Things change
People age
Time flies
Things fade
People perish
Time stops
Everything stops
Lives freeze
There is no doubt in all of our minds
That time moves with a single and steady purpose
In a world with multiple intents
In our infinite foolishness
We measure time minute by minute
While time moves past us second by second
In our infinite stupidity
We yell Carpe Diem
In a futile attempt to seize time
In the end a realization dawn on us
That time lives in another universe
That cannot be touched or captured by us
