Has Everyone Seen Heaven?
It’s Heaven on Earth
Driving down an old dirt road
With hair blowing all around
As the country music blares off key
Park the ole Chevy in an empty field
Feet dangling off the rusty tailgate
Getting lost in the flames of the day
Waking up in the misty morning
With the windows cracked and the birds chirping
Throw on a shirt and some faded jeans
Grab a bite and start the chores
The animals are complaining
The feeding is over
It’s time to play
Lets jump on the bails
Or role in the hay
Back to work
As the sun starts beating
Pulling the plow
Or chopping the oats
Smells of the country air
Are as good as fresh bread
It’s time for a break
Sipping sweet tea, being parched no more
Going down to the creek
To cool down with some friends
As the night starts approaching
