"Holding On"
A young girl with pure innocence
dancing in the rain
learning to feel
remembering the rage...
her wet brunette curls bouncing
the crisp raindrops absorb on bare arms
bright pink rubber boots that are 3 sizes too large play
she wants to walk away from her not so home sweet home...
shes splashing in the murky puddles
the fresh rain water showering her unaged complexion
seeing the heavy clouds waver over her
a momentary smiles crawls over her lips..
slowing time down to wait
she has a quaint laugh
as a familiar drop streams down her cheek
she can hide most everything...
