The seven stages of Christianity
1.
All the world’s an ocean,
2. from small ripples rolling gently, to raging storms.
3. Starting as small foam, when we babble out prayers
4. kneeled beside our beds, hands folded, eyes closed.
5. Then we develop childlike faith where we trust in Jesus when
6. we being tested in small things and are crashing only onto the shoreline.
7. He comforts us when we see the life ahead of us, its tsunamis
8. and its slowly drifting tide.
9. Faith starts becoming real in Sunday School, we are too shallow to
10. do life on our own so Jesus becomes like the current pulling us.
11. As we walk deeper in our faith the Bible becomes so refreshing
12. to read on our own. With each word of scripture our troubled heart
13. is comforted and the water is serene and peaceful.
14. Then comes trials and being tested in our faith. The water rages with fury, waves
15. rage like the persecution a Christian must endure.
16. up and down we go, being exhausted from being tossed to and fro every way.
17.Feeling as through we may drown a loving hand comes down to pull us out.
18. That hand is Jesus that through trials becomes our very loving best friend.
19. Though waves may still shake us he renews our soles and
20. we taste like the salt of the earth.
21. Then we become old and slow and our waves reach paradise, and island
22. in the sea, we see a man glowing and shining standing on the shore.
23. He smiles and we are in heaven with Him forever.
24. The love and constant help from a savior
25. whom we call our best friend.
26. The Christian life may have its rip tides of confusion but
27. Jesus never fails to give us those days of calmness in his ocean of love.
