Understand the Trees
Trees whisper their wisdoms silent but loud
The wind whistles through branches, singing secrets aloud
Questioning knowledge and second guessing the pain
All memories lost in the sound of the rain
Pouring from heaven, see as sad angels' tears
It hurts to think beauty also has fears.
While seeking the truth and finding nothing but lies
The only way to be honest is to look hell in the eyes
Understanding the trees means hearing the wind
And finding the answer means admitting to sin
Wanting to speak but being silenced by fear
Only the wind is aware if the answer is near
So be brave like the wind and strong as the trees
Knowing someday the sun bring another warm breeze
