One Warm Winter Sun
My sweet flower bloomed
From the frosted earth
One warm winter sun
Fooled it out of hibernation
One warm winter sun
Brought a splash of color
To this frozen ground
I sat and played
With my little flower
For hours under the
One warm winter sun
And as hours passed by
The one warm winter sun
Traveled across the sky
Soon that one warm winter sun
Sunk below the pink horizon
So I let my flower rest
As I did the same
And when the morning came
I went outside to see my flower
But that one warm winter sun
Had faltered
And my flower
Was gone.
