The Perfect Poem
The perfect poem will consist Of things that do and don't exist With future tense and also past So, through the ages, it might last And make it's words just like a song So that others might sing along And if you have some extra time Put in effort to make it rhyme Big words are fine as long as we Can understand each one with ease And make its meaning strong and deep So that, into hearts, it may seep Or slam a stanza in their ear And watch them nod their heads and cheer That's when you know your points been made And in your path success is laid
