A New Playground
Hope in the form of a new playground
On the morning of a new sunny day
Light has finally found a way around
The darkness of man once killed in play
Sight in the form of green grass's dew
A night had never been so cold
The sun is shining on the chosen few
Who would bend but never fold
Relief in the form of a cotton candy cloud
That blocked the sun just enough
To show that moderation is often allowed
If the world would just see such stuff
Light comes when nightmares go away
And realize the circle of life is still round
Open your eyes, let that pain fade
Hope in a new playground
